This 50-acre community park offers: tennis courts, basketball court, playground equipment,

Brookshire Arboretum

This 14-acre nature lab is maintained as a nature preserve for wildlife and vegetation.
Located on S.R. 39 about 1.25 miles south of Middle Jamestown Rd.

Creekside Nature Park

An 18-acre property bordering Eagle Creek used as a canoe launch. Multi-use trails are currently in the planning stage.

At the center of Boone County, the courthouse features the largest one-piece limestone columns in the world. Each one measures 35 feet 5 1/2 inches high and weighs thirty tons.
